These workshops are the beginning of a journey that sees Looping the Loop creating a large-scale community play based around the famous showman 'Lord' George Sanger. England’s answer to Barnum, Sanger (1825 - 1911) ran his circus at what is now Dreamland in Margate and built the now demolished 2,000-seat Royal Palace Theatre in Ramsgate High Street. His world was one of wonder, survival and pride and we think it’s time to revive it!

Unleash your inner performer at our FREE singing workshop. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Join Ed Greenhalgh for a morning of musical magic with a circus theme, including songs from “The Greatest Showman”. Whether you’re a shower singer or a seasoned vocalist this workshop has it all to offer, first steps and technique tips from our experienced vocal coach. It’s a morning of music and merriment, and best of all, it is totally FREE. So, grab your vocal chords, and get singing!

Join Puppetmaster Extraordinaire, James Frost at this FREE workshop to create large scale animal puppets from recycled materials. Then learn how to perform with them. You will also meet a hooden horse, learn about other animal puppets and find out how they work.
