Looping The Loop CIC is committed to making adventures in performance. We are a small team who dream big and we'd love you to help make our dreams a reality.
We reach up to 10,000 people each year through our lively programme of festivals, events and projects. This includes over 1000 people locally who get directly involved through workshops and participatory activities, providing a way to not only enjoy the arts, but to learn, be inspired and even to consider a creative career. For many people, we are their only opportunity to benefit from taking part in the arts.
"It's a place to grow all kinds of talent and develop your personality. Not only do they help other dramatical people as themselves, but people like me - people who enjoy being behind the scenes... it was nothing like I imagined, paper and laptops flying everywhere. You could feel the excitement in the air... more than a company, it feels like a family." Ella McAloney Foster (volunteer, then paid intern, age 18)
We commission new work by emerging local artists, run networking events and theatre workshops throughout the year as well as an annual Looping the Loop Festival.
"As a rate-paying grandfather, I consider this an excellent initiative for Thanet District Council/Ramsgate Town Council to sponsor/encourage."
"So happy to have seen this here and not need to travel to london."
"This was a touching and beautiful look at the tenderness of real life relationships and how they can be expressed in a way that surpasses barriers in communication that are sometimes present. I loved it!"
We are only able to continue to do this work through the generosity of funders and supporters. Ticket sales only make up around 15% of our annual income, so we must raise the rest to continue presenting extraordinary live performance. Investment in our work supports local artists, creating paid work for talented people and provides vital activities for the local community, enhancing wellbeing, education and happiness.
Please consider supporting us by making a donation, becoming a regular donor or come and join us as a volunteer to help make great things happen in Thanet.
