We are looking for performers and makers for our next scratch event, SCRATCH THE SKY
This event will be part of the closing day celebrations of Joachim Koester, The Other Side of the Sky with watercolours by JMW Turner at Turner Contemporary, Margate.
We are looking for artists/performers and companies across all art forms, including music and dance, who want to scratch up to 15 minutes of their work at any stage of development, in relation to "journeys", inspired by The Other Side of the Sky.
“Koester plays with the art of storytelling through 16mm film, sound and photography, taking you on a journey to different times, places and states of consciousness. From hypnosis and hallucination to the psychedelic, weave your way through Koester’s narratives and experience The Other Side of the Sky.”
The performances will take place throughout the building at Turner Contemporary: in the foyer, the Sunley, the galleries, the cafe, the loos, suggest a spot! - so tech will have to be kept to a bare minimum.
Venue: Turner Contemporary, Margate.
When: Sunday 8th May, 2 – 4 pm, with audience feedback session from 4 – 5 pm
We can offer contributions to expenses if agreed in advance.
To apply: email firstname.lastname@example.org with 'LTL Scratch' in the subject box.
